Mary Lee Blaylock has been appointed as the president of brokerage at Sotheby's International Realty, leading the company's owned brokerage operations across the United States. She will be responsible for overseeing 48 brokerage offices and more than 2,300 affiliated agents, who generated an impressive $20 billion in sales volume in 2024.
Blaylock joins Sotheby's International Realty with extensive experience in the residential real estate industry, having spent over 30 years in various leadership roles. Most recently, she served as the senior vice president at HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate. Prior to that, she was president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, overseeing 56 offices, 350 employees, and 3,000 agents.
The appointment of Blaylock aims to enhance Sotheby's International Realty's local market positioning while driving long-term growth. Her strategic acumen and proven leadership have been recognized in the industry, with her being named among the top 100 most powerful leaders in residential real estate by the Swanepoel Power 200.
