Daktronics (NASDAQ:DAKT), a leader in audiovisual systems, has been announced as the official large display partner for the Tennessee Titans' future Nissan Stadium. Scheduled to open in 2027, this development will see Daktronics manufacture and install an impressive collection of 37 LED displays, covering more than 77,000 square feet. This installation will place the stadium among the top three in the National Football League for total LED square footage.
The highlight of this installation will be the "Ring of Fire" display, a notable 13 feet high and 2,275 feet wide LED ribbon that circles the stadium’s upper bowl. This display will cover a total of 29,575 square feet, marking it as the longest in the league, a testament to Daktronics' innovation and engineering expertise.
Additional features of the installation include three main end zone video displays totaling 25,215 square feet. The display in the east end zone measures 41 feet high by 343 feet wide, while the northwest and southwest displays each measure 41 feet high by 136 feet wide. Moreover, the stadium will include 23 ribbon and vomitory displays tallying 17,000 square feet, as well as concourse and exterior displays collectively exceeding 5,000 square feet.
In the locker rooms and interview rooms, Daktronics will implement specialized displays with narrow pixel pitch technology, ensuring clear imagery for close-up viewing. This multifaceted project, poised to be operational by 2027, underscores Daktronics' forward-thinking and commitment to enhancing fan engagement at live events.
