Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (UTI) has announced that San Antonio will host its inaugural skilled trades-focused campus, slated to open in Spring 2026. The forthcoming UTI-San Antonio facility will cover more than 50,000 square feet, located at 5776 Stemmons Drive. This new campus will provide programs in aviation, welding, HVACR, and an array of electrical training including wind, robotics, and industrial maintenance.

This expansion is a crucial element of UTI's North Star strategy, aiming to shape the future workforce of America. San Antonio is among three planned campus openings in fiscal 2026, contingent upon obtaining necessary regulatory approvals. Currently, the company operates six campuses in Texas and has recently announced new locations in Atlanta and Fort Myers.

UTI's strategic initiative anticipates delivering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 10% in revenue and expanding Adjusted EBITDA margins to nearly 20% by fiscal 2029. This plan underscores growth, diversification, and optimization across UTI's transportation and trades division as well as Concorde Career Colleges' healthcare division.

"Skilled trades education builds the foundation for innovation, economic strength, and fulfilling career opportunities," stated Tracy Lorenz, UTI Division President. The San Antonio location leverages strong community ties and the city's rising demand for skilled workers, reinforcing UTI's commitment to workforce development and education.
