Ziff Davis, Inc. (ZD, Financial) has announced the appointment of John Ingram as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance and Development. In this new role, Ingram will be responsible for overseeing global mergers and acquisitions while collaborating with corporate leadership on critical aspects such as strategic planning, capital allocation, capital markets transactions, and stakeholder engagement. He will report directly to Bret Richter, the Chief Financial Officer of Ziff Davis.
John Ingram possesses extensive expertise in M&A and corporate finance, having accrued more than 18 years of experience primarily in the media and technology sectors. Prior to joining Ziff Davis, Ingram co-founded Aliri Capital, which focuses on investing in lower middle market B2B services and tech-enabled services companies. His previous roles also include nearly a decade with Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division, alongside positions at Ernst & Young, Dixon Hughes (now FORVIS), and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Ingram has an academic background that includes an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, as well as a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.A. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
