- BorgWarner (BWA, Financial) to showcase innovative electric mobility technologies at the ACT Expo 2025 in Anaheim.
- The iM-575 integrated inverter-motor drive module will be a key highlight, offering industry-leading specifications.
- Additional technologies include various battery systems, CV inverters, power modules, and advanced thermal management solutions.
BorgWarner (BWA) is set to unveil its latest electric Commercial Vehicle (eCV) technologies at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2025. The event will take place from April 28 to May 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center, with BorgWarner showcasing at booth #5221.
The centerpiece of their exhibition will be the iM-575 integrated inverter-motor drive module. This innovative module combines BorgWarner's High Voltage Hairpin motor, HVH320-216, with the Cascadia Motion 350 inverter. It delivers an impressive 1,829 Nm of peak torque and continuous power of 412 kW at 750 Vdc, specifically tailored for Class 6 to 8 commercial vehicles. The iM-575's integrated design simplifies system complexity and minimizes OEM integration costs while advancing market readiness.
Beyond the iM-575, BorgWarner will also showcase its 9 AKM Battery System and Module, along with various CV inverters and power modules. Their thermal management solutions, which include eHeaters, eFans, High Voltage Air Heaters, and eCoolers, are engineered to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of commercial vehicles to meet the evolving demands of the transportation industry.
Joseph McHenry, General Manager of BorgWarner Portland and the Cascadia Motion brand, emphasized the importance of ACT Expo as a platform for partnering with automakers in the shift toward cleaner, energy-efficient fleets. With over 130 years of innovation, BorgWarner continues to lead in developing technologies for a more sustainable future.
