HEICO Corporation (HEI) has announced the acquisition of Rosen Aviation through its subsidiary Mid Continent Controls (MC2). The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Rosen, based in Eugene, Oregon, is renowned for its design and manufacturing of in-flight entertainment products, focusing particularly on in-cabin displays and control panels for the business and VVIP aviation markets.

This acquisition marks HEICO's fourth in the last six months, reflecting an aggressive expansion strategy. HEICO expects the purchase to be accretive to its earnings within the year, promising potential gains for its shareholders. The integration of Rosen’s expertise with MC2’s proprietary in-cabin power and entertainment systems aims to create comprehensive aircraft interior IFE solutions.

Rosen has a significant presence in business and VVIP aircraft markets, with products installed as standard equipment across various aircraft. The acquisition will capitalize on Rosen's established market position, allowing HEICO to expand its footprint in the specialized aviation segments. Both entities will operate under the umbrella of HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group, with Thomas Hemphill, President of MC2, leading the combined operations.
