MINISO Group's (MNSO) first-ever Disney's Stitch pop-up stores have landed in the United States, operating from April to June 2025. The pop-ups are taking place at the American Dream Mall in New York and the Los Cerritos Center in Los Angeles. This initiative is part of MINISO's Super IP strategy to collaborate with global brands, coinciding with the anticipated premiere of Disney's Lilo & Stitch live-action film on May 23, 2025.
The pop-up stores feature nearly 200 Stitch-themed products, with prices ranging from $2 to $20. Among the range of merchandise are plush toys, electronics, and home accessories. The launch event at American Dream Mall was a major success, attracting over 400 fans and selling out all 2,000 limited-edition vinyl blind boxes on the first day at both locations. This indicates a strong consumer appetite for the beloved Disney character.
Following this successful launch, MINISO plans to extend the Disney Stitch pop-up concept globally, with future locations in markets such as China, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Canada.
