Titan America (TTAM), a leading producer of cement and building materials, has announced the appointment of Jason Morin as the new President of its Florida Business Unit. Morin succeeds Randy Dunlap, who will transition to Executive Director, Growth & Strategy within the company.
Jason Morin will be based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and will report directly to President & CEO Bill Zarkalis. Under his leadership, the Florida Business Unit aims to achieve topline growth and margin expansion, as well as strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and communities. The unit manages significant assets including the Pennsuco cement plant, the largest of its kind in Florida, along with 40 ready-mix plants, three quarries, eight concrete block plants, two fly ash plants, and various terminals.
Morin's professional background is robust, highlighted by roles at General Electric, and leadership positions at Holcim and Summit Materials' Continental Cement. Most recently, he served as CEO of Black Mountain Sand. His educational credentials include a bachelor's degree from Clarkson University and an MBA from Missouri State University.
With Morin's appointment, Titan America anticipates continued growth and innovative development within its Florida operations. Meanwhile, Randy Dunlap, who served as Florida Business Unit President for over a decade, will focus on strategic growth efforts across the organization in his new role.
