The OTC Markets Group Inc. (OTCQX: OTCM) has announced its first quarter 2025 performance results and rebalancing for the OTCQX indexes. The OTCQX Composite Index (.OTCQX), an indicator of the overall market performance, achieved a 10.1% increase in Q1 2025. During this period, 35 new companies, including Eagle Financial Services, Inc. (EFSI), joined the index, while 41 companies were removed.

The OTCQX Billion+ Index (.OTCQXBIL) also saw a significant rise of 10.3%, with the addition of four new companies: Allied Gold Corp. (AAUCF), Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A. (BPIRY), Metaplanet Inc. (MTPLF), and Aura Minerals Inc. (ORAAF). In contrast, the OTCQX Banks Index (.OTCQXBK) experienced a decline of 1.8%, despite adding 12 new community and regional banks such as Citizens Bancorp Investment, Inc. (CBBN) and US Metro Bancorp (USMT).

The best-performing index this quarter was the OTCQX Dividend Index (.OTCQXDIV), which tracks dividend-paying companies, with an impressive 10.9% increase. On a less favorable note, the OTCQX U.S. Index (.OTCQXUS) fell by 6.2% while integrating 16 new companies and removing 17.

Additionally, the OTCQX International Index (.OTCQXINT) and OTCQX Canada Index (.OTCQXCAN) posted increases of 10.3% and 3.2%, respectively. Both indexes witnessed multiple changes in their constituents during the quarter. As of April 1, 2025, OTC Markets Group Inc. ceased tracking the OTCQX Cannabis Index (.OTCQXMJ) and the OTCQB Venture Index (.OTCQB), streamlining its focus on active sectors.
