Anaergia Inc. (TSX:ANRG, OTCQX:ANRGF) has announced a binding Letter of Intent with Capwatt Biomethane to design and construct nine advanced biomethane production facilities across Portugal, Spain, and Italy. These new projects are set to be completed within the next 30 months, generating more than C$60 million in revenue for Anaergia.
These upcoming facilities will feature Anaergia’s proprietary systems, including anaerobic digesters, significantly enhancing Europe's green energy infrastructure. Once operational, the nine facilities will collectively produce 556,000 MWh per year of high-quality biomethane.
The agreement builds on the successful cooperation between Anaergia and Capwatt, who have previously collaborated on three biomethane facilities, two in Portugal and one in Italy. This reinforces the companies' commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions in Europe.
