Nintendo has announced that pre-orders for the Switch 2 in the United States will begin on April 24. The retail price will remain at $449.99, as previously disclosed on April 2. Initially, pre-orders were set for April 9, but the date was postponed to assess the impact of tariffs imposed by the U.S. administration.
Nintendo also revealed that there will be a "price adjustment" for the console's accessories. For instance, the dock set will cost an additional $10, the controller strap will see a $1 increase, and most other accessories will have a $5 price hike. The company noted that future costs for any Nintendo products might be subject to further changes.
