Accel Entertainment, Inc. (ACEL), a prominent provider of gaming solutions in the U.S., is set to launch its first Illinois casino, the Fairmount Park Casino & Racing, with a soft opening scheduled for April 18, 2025. The 12,000 sq. ft. facility located at 9301 Collinsville Rd. will feature modern slots and electronic table games, marking the company's strategic move into the local racino market.
The casino's opening coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Fairmount Park racetrack, offering a modernized venue that combines casino gaming with horse racing. The racing season itself will commence on April 22, 2025. Over the past months, the venue has undergone significant upgrades, including enhanced racing infrastructure and new concessions.
Accel has partnered with Fifty/50 Hospitality Group to expand its food and beverage service. This will include the introduction of three new concessions and a full-service restaurant and bar, expected to open in June 2025, providing opportunities for hosting corporate events and casual gatherings.
