Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading travel technology company, has announced a renewed agreement with Kerzner International to bolster its distribution capabilities through the SynXis platform. This renewal allows Kerzner to offer ancillary services alongside room reservations across its 23 global properties using Sabre's SynXis Booking Engine.
The partnership ensures that Kerzner will continue to distribute its hotel content through Sabre Hospitality's Global Distribution System network. The SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS) provides consistent distribution across multiple channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDSs), booking engines, and call centers.
Notably, Kerzner experienced a remarkable 97% growth in transactions from 2022 to 2024 via the SynXis CRS. Moreover, hotels utilizing SynXis Retailing reported an average of $300 in additional spend per booking. The top-performing properties are projected to generate more than $1 million in non-room revenue annually.
Kerzner International operates 23 properties globally in destinations such as Dubai, Sanya, Cape Town, Malaysia, Rwanda, Greece, Mauritius, Mexico, Maldives, Morocco, USA, and Montenegro. This collaboration aims to unlock new revenue streams through advanced retailing capabilities in a competitive and evolving travel technology landscape.
