Hermès International announced that its first-quarter revenue reached €4.1 billion, marking a 9% increase at current exchange rates and a 7% growth at constant rates. The luxury brand experienced growth across all regions.
Chairman Axel Dumas emphasized the company's commitment to uncompromising quality and vertical integration, which preserves their unique expertise. Despite a high comparison base, Hermès achieved robust sales growth thanks to customer trust and team dedication.
As of March 2025, all geographic areas showed growth, and the exclusive distribution network continued to expand. Despite a decline in foot traffic in Greater China since late Q1 2024, sales in Asia (excluding Japan) grew by 1%. Driven by local customer loyalty, Japan's sales surged by 17% year-on-year.
In the U.S., business grew by 11%, with particularly strong sales in March. European sales, excluding France, increased by 13%, while France saw a 14% rise due to sustained local demand and dynamic tourist activity. Other regions, mainly the Middle East, maintained growth momentum with a 14% increase.
