Power Metallic Mines Inc. (TSX-V: PNPN, OTCBB: PNPNF) has revealed drilling results from its winter 2025 campaign at the Tiger Zone, yielding promising indications of Lion-style copper-dominant mineralization. The four drill holes, part of their exploration strategy targeting EM anomalies, include significant mineralization at shallow depths of 50-100 meters below the surface.
Notably, hole PN-25-099 presented a broader mineralization width of 14.3 meters with 0.96% copper equivalent (CuEqRec), including a more concentrated 6.0-meter segment at 1.84% CuEqRec. Moreover, hole PN-25-102 showcased a high-grade copper mineralization of 1.00 meter at 6.37% CuEqRec, reinforcing the potential of the Tiger Zone despite its status as the smallest zone along the Nisk trend.
Currently, Power Metallic has momentarily paused its drilling activities to honor community traditions and facilitate a smooth transition to summer drilling conditions. Operations are scheduled to resume in late May, with results from an additional 20 drill holes across various zones, including Lion and Nisk areas, still pending. This pause also provides time to review and analyze geophysical data to refine future exploration plans.
The shallow depth of mineralization in the Tiger Zone, coupled with over 300 meters of untested strike length, presents an exciting opportunity for future exploration. The area holds several off-hole EM anomalies that could denote further untapped resources, setting the stage for significant discoveries in this promising region.
