OneConnect Financial Technology (OCFT), a key affiliate of Ping An, participated in the World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit on April 14-15, 2025. The event was a platform for showcasing the company's strides in integrating digital technologies into the financial sector.

Chen Dangyang, Chairman and CEO of OneConnect, highlighted that in 2024, Ping An invested RMB 10.14 trillion to support the real economy, underpinning the success of OneConnect's 'Five Key Pillars' strategy: technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, retirement finance, and digital finance.

A significant milestone for OneConnect is its 100% market penetration of state-owned and joint-stock banks in China. Additionally, the company has expanded its reach to 20 countries, where it serves 197 overseas financial institutions, highlighting its robust international expansion.

OneConnect's technological solutions have played a pivotal role in Ping An's digital transformation. The company has contributed to innovative projects, like building digital-intelligent claims models and transforming property insurance operations. These efforts have earned OneConnect the prestigious First Prize for Financial Technology Development from the People's Bank of China.

The conference, themed "Integration of AI and Digital Technologies Shaping the Future," saw nearly 1,000 participants from various sectors, promoting high-quality development in innovation and technology within the Asia-Pacific region. During the summit, OneConnect engaged in discussions about advancing the integration of financial industries with digital intelligence technologies, emphasizing inclusive financial services.
