YK Communications has partnered with Calix University to enhance its workforce into a competitive broadband experience provider (BXP). Over a 90-day period, the Texas-based company has managed to increase employee course enrollment by six-fold, leveraging specialized training programs to improve sales, marketing, leadership, and community outreach skills.

Impressively, YK Communications has achieved a Net Promoter Score of 92, significantly outperforming the telecommunications industry's average in the 30s. This achievement is largely attributed to their value-based offerings, such as the 'Family Guardian' plan, which includes features like ExperienceIQ advanced network controls, ProtectIQ cybersecurity, Bark social media monitoring, and Arlo Secure connected property cameras.

The initiative between YK Communications and Calix University is timely, given that nearly one-third of the broadband industry workforce is expected to retire within the next decade. Calix University offers a comprehensive educational platform that includes e-learning, virtual instructor-led courses, and in-person classes, covering a spectrum of topics from broadband basics to cybersecurity awareness.
