QXO Inc. (QXO, Financial) has announced the appointment of Val Liborski as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective April 21, 2025. Liborski, a seasoned tech industry veteran, previously held the CTO position at Yahoo and HelloFresh.
Liborski's extensive career history includes leading engineering and product management at Amazon Web Services, where he oversaw technology for the expansion of Amazon's European consumer business. He also served in senior engineering roles at Microsoft, developing large-scale data systems for Bing and AI-driven advertising platforms.
According to QXO Chairman and CEO Brad Jacobs, Liborski's robust experience with high-performance companies will offer QXO a substantial competitive advantage as it seeks to become a leader in the $800 billion building products distribution industry. The company has set ambitious goals for the coming decade, targeting $50 billion in annual revenue through both acquisitions and organic growth.
QXO is also progressing with its strategic move to acquire Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. for approximately $11 billion, which is anticipated to position QXO as the second-largest distributor of roofing products in the United States. The completion of this transaction is expected the week of April 28, 2025.
