First American Financial Corporation (FAF) has announced significant leadership changes aimed at bolstering its strategic direction and digital transformation efforts. The company has appointed Mark E. Seaton as the new Chief Executive Officer. Seaton, who previously served as Chief Financial Officer since 2013, will replace outgoing CEO Ken DeGiorgio.

Seaton has been a pivotal figure in leading First American’s strategic initiatives, particularly those driving the company's digital transformation. His tenure at First American began in 2006, and he brings a strong educational background with degrees from Stanford University and Dartmouth College.

Further reinforcing its executive team, First American Financial has promoted Matt F. Wajner to Chief Financial Officer. Wajner has been with the company since 2009, serving as Treasurer for the past five years, and has a rich background in finance with experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. His promotion maintains the continuity in First American's financial leadership as he takes on his new role.

Additionally, Dennis J. Gilmore, who previously held the Chairman position, will now transition to Executive Chairman, indicating his continued active involvement in supporting the new leadership.
