Bunge (BG, Financial) has announced its decision to sell its North American dry corn and corn masa milling operations to Grain Craft, a prominent U.S. flour milling company. This strategic divestment includes facilities located in Danville, Illinois; Worthington, Indiana; Crete, Nebraska; Red Oak, Iowa; Muleshoe, Texas; Atchison, Kansas; and Queretaro, Mexico.

The transaction is part of Bunge's ongoing efforts to streamline its operations and focus on core businesses. However, the completion of this sale is contingent upon receiving the necessary regulatory approvals and meeting standard closing conditions.

This move allows Grain Craft to expand its footprint in the milling industry, further strengthening its position as a leading independent flour miller in the United States.
