This innovation, developed in collaboration with Intrinsic Advanced Materials, addresses the critical environmental issue of microplastic fiber pollution from synthetic textile shedding. By incorporating a patented additive at the fiber level, the technology allows synthetic materials to mimic natural materials such as wool, enabling them to biodegrade in environments like soil and seawater while maintaining performance qualities.
