MISTRAS Group, Inc. (MG), a leading provider of asset protection solutions, has appointed Cliff Schaffer as Senior Vice President of In-Lab Services. Reporting directly to Executive Vice President and COO Hani Hammad, Schaffer will spearhead the strategy and operations of MISTRAS’ in-lab services across North America, with an emphasis on expanding services in the aerospace and defense, as well as heavy manufacturing sectors.

Prior to joining MISTRAS, Schaffer served as Vice President of Operations at Element Materials Technology, where he significantly contributed to a space and defense division, achieving a remarkable 22% annual revenue growth. His leadership not only improved profitability but also enhanced customer satisfaction. Schaffer, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, brings over a decade of executive leadership experience within the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) industry to his new role at MISTRAS.

MISTRAS Group operates through ISO 17025-accredited laboratories, equipped with Nadcap and regulatory certifications. These facilities offer a comprehensive suite of services including non-destructive testing, etching, chemical and mechanical analysis, dimensional measurement, machining, and finishing services. These integrated services support OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers by reducing turnaround times and streamlining quality assurance processes within manufacturing supply chains.
