CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), a global leader in identity security, has announced its Secure AI Agents Solution. Designed to implement identity-first security for agentic AI, the solution is aimed at enhancing security measures as AI agents autonomously engage with sensitive information and critical infrastructure. This move comes in response to a growing concern highlighted by Gartner, which predicts that by 2028, 25% of enterprise breaches will be attributed to AI agent misuse.

The solution offers several key features, including discovery and context for agent observability, privilege control for effective access management, threat detection and response, automated lifecycle management, and governance compliance. These capabilities will help organizations manage the evolving threat landscape by treating each AI agent as a privileged, autonomous identity subject to continuous oversight and adaptive control.

In parallel, CyberArk has released an open-source security toolset on GitHub, aimed at developers working with AI agents. This toolset includes the CyberArk Labs AI Agent Tool Set, enhanced by CyberArk CORA AIâ„¢, an AI engine embedded within the platform. CORA AI analyzes user and AI behavior, detects threats, and enables natural language interactions for more efficient threat management.

The new Secure AI Agents Solution is set to be available by late 2025. This timeline reflects CyberArk's strategic approach of balancing comprehensiveness and readiness in a rapidly growing field. By prioritizing a robust, identity-first security framework, CyberArk positions itself ahead in the emerging market segment while continuing to support its commitment to innovation in cybersecurity.
