JetBlue Airways (JBLU) has announced the resumption of nonstop routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) beginning in July 2025. The airline will offer twice-daily flights to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) starting July 3, 2025, and daily flights to José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE) in Guayaquil, Ecuador, starting July 17, 2025.

This expansion emphasizes JetBlue's increased investment in South Florida, where the company has reported a 6% rise in departures year-over-year. With more than 70 daily flights to over 30 destinations from Fort Lauderdale, the airline has solidified its position as a leading carrier for Caribbean and Latin America routes. Additionally, JetBlue notes a 60% growth in lie-flat seats compared to the previous summer.

To celebrate the launch, JetBlue is offering promotional one-way fares starting at $69 for the Philadelphia route and $119 for the Guayaquil route. These routes will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft, offering complimentary snacks, drinks, high-speed Fly-Fi internet, and seatback entertainment.

JetBlue's move to reinstate these routes comes as part of its strategy to strengthen its network and respond to customer demand. The airline positions itself as a preferred choice for travelers seeking connectivity between the East Coast and Latin America.
