Appian (APPN, Financial) has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High authorization for its Appian Government Cloud (AGC). This certification allows the platform to manage highly sensitive data for federal civilian agencies, where security breaches could have serious consequences, such as financial disaster or even loss of life.
In a parallel development, Appian has successfully renewed its Impact Level 5 (IL5) Provisional Authority to Operate from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for another three years. This accreditation enables AGC to host Controlled Unclassified Information and other mission-critical data, further enhancing its capability to serve the needs of federal entities.
