International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF, Financial) (IFF) has announced a strategic consolidation of its Mexican operations by relocating to a new site in Mexico City's Tecnoparque business complex. This move is set to begin with the Global Business Services Center and is expected to be completed by 2026, establishing the location as one of IFF's largest office sites globally.
The new facility will accommodate up to 650 employees across IFF's Health & Biosciences, Scent, Taste, and Food Ingredients divisions. IFF aims to enhance operational efficiency and encourage cross-functional collaboration by co-locating these business segments. The Tecnoparque complex features 50,000 square meters of green space, solar power generation, and sophisticated water management systems, emphasizing IFF's commitment to sustainable infrastructure.
While IFF's operations are shifting to Tecnoparque, the existing facilities in Tlalnepantla will continue as a strategic production site, particularly serving the Scent and Taste business units. This consolidation aligns with IFF's broader strategy of establishing technology and innovation hubs in key global markets, enhancing its regional presence, and operational capabilities in Latin America.
