Tesla (TSLA, Financial) shares surged by over 4% in pre-market trading, reaching $270.39. This boost comes as data reveals a 64% year-on-year increase in Tesla's sales in Sweden for March. Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, recently discussed his challenging experience working with the Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE) during a town hall in Wisconsin, mentioning plans to resign by the end of May. In response, President Trump commented that Musk, as the head of a major company, is eventually expected to leave such positions, but he will try to retain Musk as long as possible.
