Apple (AAPL, Financial) is reportedly developing a comprehensive health application, codenamed Project Mulberry, which aims to incorporate an AI assistant designed to simulate a personal health coach. This app, informally called "Health+", will offer lifestyle recommendations based on user health data. A notable feature includes extensive food tracking, alongside utilizing the device's camera to suggest corrections for exercise postures. Additionally, the app will feature educational videos on various health topics produced by actual doctors. Apple has already recruited a team of doctors whose data is being used to train this AI assistant.
To support the creation of these educational materials, Apple plans to establish a studio near Oakland, California. The report suggests that this application will be launched with iOS 19.4, expected to release in the spring or summer of next year.
