Amazon (AMZN) Plans Four-Day Prime Day Event for 2025

Amazon (AMZN, Financial) is preparing to expand its Prime Day event to four days in 2025, based on information from an internal memo. Although dates are not confirmed, the sales extravaganza is expected in mid-July, allowing customers more time to explore deals. In 2024, Amazon's Prime Day generated $14.2 billion in sales, an 11.8% increase from the previous year. The event is expected to face competition from major retailers like Walmart (WMT), Target (TGT), and others, who may also host sales during this period.
