Levi Strauss (LEVI) in Talks to Divest Dockers Brand to Marquee Brands

Levi Strauss (LEVI, Financial) is currently in exclusive negotiations with Marquee Brands, a brand management company, over the sale of its Dockers brand. Although the timing of a potential deal is uncertain, and Levi Strauss will announce its first-quarter results on April 7, other interested buyers like Authentic Brands remain on standby should discussions with Marquee not result in an agreement. This development follows Levi Strauss's October announcement of exploring strategic options for Dockers, including a possible sale.
