GE Aerospace has been awarded a contract worth up to $5 billion by the U.S. Air Force. The agreement, announced recently, involves an indefinite delivery and quantity contract for manufacturing engines. This contract supports foreign military sales of the F110-GE-129 engines, which are currently used in F-15 and F-16 aircraft.
Under the terms of the agreement, GE Aerospace will collaborate with the Air Force to supply engines, spare parts, and services to allied operators. This partnership aims to enhance the operational capabilities of the aircraft used by allied nations.
