AB InBev, the world's largest brewer, announced that its fourth-quarter sales exceeded expectations, even though there was a year-over-year decline in volume. The company reported a 3.4% increase in fourth-quarter sales, reaching $14.84 billion, surpassing the average analyst forecast of $14.05 billion as per LSEG. For the full year 2024, sales rose by 2.7% to $59.77 billion, which also exceeded analysts' expectations of $59.3 billion.

The total volume for the fourth quarter decreased by 1.9%, and there was a 1.4% decline for the entire year, primarily due to weak demand in China and Argentina. Despite these challenges, AB InBev remains confident in the ongoing resilience of global beer demand.

Looking ahead, the company aims for EBITDA growth in 2025 to align with its medium-term outlook of 4% to 8% growth.
