Salesforce (CRM, Financial) has announced a significant long-term partnership with Google (GOOGL), valued at billions of dollars. This collaboration aims to deeply integrate Salesforce's customer relationship management (CRM) software, Agentforce AI assistant, and Data Cloud solutions with Google Cloud. The seamless integration will enhance the synergy between Google Workspace and Salesforce's AI-driven CRM tools, offering shared customers more robust AI models, data analytics, and intelligent agent capabilities.
Despite Salesforce's current reliance on Amazon's (AMZN) AWS cloud services, this move strengthens its collaboration with Google in the cloud computing arena. According to reports, the agreement is worth $2.5 billion over a seven-year period.
This announcement comes on the heels of Google Cloud's recent partnership with ServiceNow (NOW) to provide IT service management and security solutions on the Google Distributed Cloud platform.
Additionally, Salesforce is set to release its fourth-quarter financial results for fiscal year 2025 this week. Analysts forecast an adjusted earnings per share of $2.61 and revenue of $10.04 billion.
