Salesforce (CRM) and Google Forge Billion-Dollar Cloud Partnership

Salesforce (CRM, Financial) has formed a multibillion-dollar cloud partnership with Alphabet Inc.'s Google, aiming to attract enterprise clients currently using Microsoft's productivity and AI solutions. Salesforce, which primarily relies on Amazon Web Services, has committed to spending at least $2.5 billion over seven years on Google's cloud computing services.

This new agreement allows Salesforce customers to run their customer management software, including the Agentforce autonomous AI assistant and Data Cloud products, on Google Cloud. The deal highlights a growing trend among major tech companies to forge alliances and partnerships to offer a broader range of AI-enhanced products and services to clients.
