Tesla Plans to Mass Produce Optimus Robots at Fremont Factory

Renowned Tesla investor and electric vehicle analyst Sawyer Merritt recently announced on social media that Tesla (TSLA, Financial) is actively recruiting engineers to prepare for the mass production of Optimus, the Tesla robot, at its Fremont, California factory.

During a recent performance update, Tesla revealed its ambitious production targets for the Optimus robot. The company aims to produce 10,000 robots by 2025, with an initial production capacity increase to 1,000 units per month. By 2026, Tesla plans to boost its monthly production capacity to 10,000 units, and further increase it to 100,000 units by 2027.
