New York, Jan. 28, 2025 – IBM Corp (IBM, Financial) has a longstanding history of paying quarterly dividends for more than 100 years without fail. Continuing the tradition, IBM has announced a quarterly cash dividend of $1.67 per common share, payable on March 10, 2025, to stockholders of record as of February 10, 2025.

IBM and Palo Alto Networks (PANW) just released their findings in cybersecurity challenges after conducting a global survey. Companies are found to use up to 83 security tools and solutions from 29 cybersecurity vendors and could cost companies up to 5% of annual revenue. The complexity of the tools and solutions also limit cyber threat response.

And it was found that 70% of organizations with high security platformization report full visibility into threats with improved business outcomes of 4 times better ROI. Security incident response time also reduced by 72-84 days by platformization.

Platformization is a term for one consolidated security platform where multiple security tools and solutions integrated in one place rather than standalone tools from various vendors. Platformization is the key to improve efficiency, streamline operations and provide better integration and give an easy-to-use unified platform at cheaper price than isolated separated cybersecurity tools.
