Sam's Club Denies China Sales Exceeding 100 Billion Yuan

Sam's Club has refuted claims that its China operations achieved sales of 100.5 billion yuan in 2024, with online sales contributing over 48%. The company stated it has not released such data and does not comment on market rumors. This response follows reports from retail media citing market insiders.

According to Walmart's third-quarter fiscal 2025 report, ending October 31, sales in the Chinese market reached $4.9 billion, marking a 17% year-over-year growth. Combined with sales from the previous two quarters of $5.7 billion and $4.6 billion, Walmart China's net sales for the first three quarters of fiscal 2025 totaled $15.2 billion, approximately 110 billion yuan.
