Ford Recalls Over 20,000 Vehicles Due to Battery Defect

Ford Motor Company is recalling a total of 20,484 vehicles, including certain 2020-2024 Ford Escape and 2021-2024 Lincoln Corsair models. This recall is due to a manufacturing defect in the high-voltage battery cells, which could lead to internal short circuits and battery failure. The issue was disclosed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Ford has initiated this recall to address the potential safety risks associated with the battery defect. Owners of the affected vehicles are advised to contact their local dealerships for further information and to arrange necessary repairs.
