Microsoft has confirmed disruptions with its Game Pass cloud gaming service, affecting users for over 24 hours. Players have reported prolonged waiting times and frequent disconnections. This service outage coincides with Microsoft's new marketing initiative promoting that any internet-connected device can become an Xbox.
Since Thursday noon, numerous users have encountered issues with Xbox's cloud gaming service, which is specifically designed for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, allowing them access to a wide array of games on various devices such as tablets, phones, and TVs. As of December 27, Xbox has not provided a specific timeline for service restoration.
Approximately an hour after the disruption began on December 26, Xbox released a statement acknowledging the difficulties users face when launching cloud games and suggested checking their official status page for updates, though the problem remains unresolved.
