GoDaddy Inc. (GDDY, Financial) has announced a significant change in its accounting leadership as part of a departmental restructuring. On November 6, 2024, the company informed Nicholas Daddario, the Chief Accounting Officer, that his role would be impacted. Mr. Daddario's tenure as Chief Accounting Officer concluded on the same day, although he will continue to assist with the transition of his responsibilities until December 13, 2024.

In conjunction with this change, GoDaddy has appointed Phontip Palitwanon as the new Chief Accounting Officer and principal accounting officer. Ms. Palitwanon, aged 39, has been with the company for nine years, previously serving as Vice President, Finance, and Vice President, Corporate Controller.

Ms. Palitwanon's new role comes with an employment letter detailing her compensation, which includes an annual base salary of $350,000, an opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus of 50% of her base salary, and annual focal equity awards of restricted stock units (RSUs). Additionally, she will receive a one-time equity award valued at $500,000 in RSUs, vesting over three years.

There are no arrangements or understandings with other persons that influenced Ms. Palitwanon's selection as an officer, and she is not related to any other executive officer or director of the company. Furthermore, she holds no direct or indirect material interest in any transaction requiring disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.

This leadership transition marks a strategic move for GoDaddy as it continues to refine its accounting operations and strengthen its financial leadership team.
