Pinnacle Financial Partners, Inc., was incorporated on February 28, 2000. It is a bank holding company of Pinnacle Bank. It operates as a community bank primarily in the urban markets of Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee. As an urban community bank, it provides the personalized service most often associated with small community banks, while seeking to offer the sophisticated products and services, such as investments and treasury management, more typically offered by large regional and national banks. Its products and services include Lending Services, Deposit Services, Investment, Trust and Insurance Services, and Other Banking Services. Its lending services include commercial, real estate and consumer loans to individuals and small-to medium-sized businesses and professional entities. Its Deposit services seek to establish a broad base of core deposits, including savings, checking, interest-bearing checking, money market and certificate of deposit accounts. For Investment services, it contracts with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (RJFS), a registered broker-dealer and investment adviser, to offer and sell various securities and other financial products to the public. It also maintains a trust department which provides fiduciary and investment management services for individual and commercial clients. Other Banking services include convenience-centered products and services, including 24-hour telephone and internet banking, mobile banking, debit and credit cards, direct deposit, remote deposit and cash management services for small- to medium-sized businesses. The Company is subject to extensive state and federal banking laws and regulations that impose restrictions on and provide for general regulatory oversight.
