James Bernau (Insider Trades), CEO and 10% owner of Willamette Valley Vineyards (WVVI), bought 2,410 shares of the company on Oct. 1. The average price per share was $4.15 for a total transaction cost of $10,002. Willamette Valley Vineyards creates classic Oregon wines from the Willamette Valley Appellation and use sustainable practices in growing and vinifying winegrapes. WVVI has a market cap of $33.53 million and a P/S ratio of 1.96.

The number and volume of insider buys and sales of the company increased from 2013 to 2015. Net sales and gross profit both increased from $3.69 million to $4.72 million, and $2.24 million to $2.76 million.
