With the holiday season creeping up around the corner, commercials about gift ideas are popping up in between television programs. Of course, we always see the typical jewelry companies pushing diamonds, and good luck trying to get the "every kiss begins with Kay" jingle out of your head.

There are also the typical department store sales, pushing the latest and most fashionable looks this year, and then there are the electronics. Black Friday is usually when everyone buys their new big screen TVs, cameras, gaming systems, etc.

Accessories for smart phones appear to be hot ticket items this year in the tech world. Of course, with companies selling hot ticket items, this generates a lot of profit for them and you, too as an investor.

Here are a couple items from gizmag.com's list of top 10 coolest high-tech gadgets for kids, along with stock information on the companies carrying these items.

RoboMe is a robotic avatar. Using an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you can connect your device to the robot and change its facial expressions. With a different device, you can control the robot and even turn it into a spy, using the camera feature to see the world through the robot's eyes. Best Buy Co Inc (BBY, Financial) will carry the robot and Apple Inc (AAPL, Financial) will carry extra features for it, such as the RoboMe Controller, which transforms the robot into your eyes and ears.

Apple Inc (AAPL, Financial) is currently priced at $116.12 and down by 0.16%. The company is in the process of creating Apple Pay, which will allow customers to make "no contact" payments to retailers using certain Apple electronic devices.
