Well, good morning fellow shareholders. Welcome to Macquarie's Annual General Meeting for 2022. My name is Glenn Stevens, and I'm privileged to chair the Board of your company. I note that a quorum is present, and I formally declare the meeting open.
I'd like to begin by acknowledging the traditional owners of the land on which we meet today. The Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation and pay my respects to elders, past and present.
You've just heard a little in the videos about our retail banking businesses and the way our teams worked together on the acquisition of a large U.S. asset management firm, Waddell & Reed. After the refreshment break later on, you'll hear about some of the work we're doing in our Commodities and Global Markets business and in Macquarie Capital.
