It's a pivotal week as the U.S. determines its role in Syria. A military strike would greatly impact the oil and gas sectors as well as the global economy. Yesterday ABC News reported on market jitters as the Dow dropped 150 points last Friday immediately after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia would be backing Syria. Crude is at a two-year high around $110 per barrel. With a U.S. military strike against Syria, both gas and oil prices would be expected to rise.
