My 4 Favorite High Yielding Dividend Stocks With Singe P/E Ratios

I often write about stocks with cheap fundamentals, mostly about those with a low forward P/E. I believe that this is a great first step to find good bargains at the stock market.

But you need also a good initial dividend yield if you like to build a passive dividend income to live off. Today I would like to create a screen which combines both, yield and cheapness at a very high level.

I’m looking for High-Yield dividend stocks with single-digit P/E ratios. In order to limit my screening results, I observed only higher capitalized companies with a market capitalization over USD 2 billion.

Sixteen stocks fulfilled my criteria. Seven of them have a current buy or better rating and fifteen yielding over 10%!

REITs, asset managers and communication stocks are dominating the screen. That’s where you can find the highest dividend yields but the risk is also much higher.





Here are my favorite stocks:



VimpelCom (VIP)
has a market capitalization of $22.62 billion. The company employs 58,184 people, generates revenue of $23.061 billion and has a net income of $1.982 billion. VimpelCom’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $9.768 billion. The EBITDA margin is 42.36 percent (the operating margin is 18.09% and the net profit margin 8.59%).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 46.94 percent of VimpelCom’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 180.35 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 15.17 percent was realized by VimpelCom. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $1.41. Last fiscal year, VimpelCom paid $0.80 in the form of dividends to shareholders. Forward P/E: 8.21.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 7.82, the P/S ratio is 0.84 and the P/B ratio is finally 1.25. The dividend yield amounts to 12.7 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 1.26.

China Petroleum & Chemical (SNP) has a market capitalization of $68.96 billion. The company employs 376,201 people, generates revenue of $455.236 billion and has a net income of $10.914 billion. China Petroleum & Chemical’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $27.818 billion. The EBITDA margin is 6.11 percent (the operating margin is 3.54 percent and the net profit margin 2.40 percent).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 21.95 percent of China Petroleum & Chemical’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 54.43 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 12.99 percent was realized by China Petroleum & Chemical. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $8.90. Last fiscal year, China Petroleum & Chemical paid $3.77 in the form of dividends to shareholders. Forward P/E: 6.50.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 8.44, the P/S ratio is 0.18 and the P/B ratio is finally 0.83. The dividend yield amounts to 4.93 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 0.89.

Westpac Banking (WBK) has a market capitalization of $444.52 billion. The company employs 36,000 people, generates revenue of $33.259 billion and has a net income of $5.444 billion. Westpac Banking’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $17.537 billion. The EBITDA margin is 52.73 percent (the operating margin is 49.28 percent and the net profit margin 33.57 percent).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 25.40 percent of Westpac Banking’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 387.48 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 13.85 percent was realized by Westpac Banking. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $1.81. Last fiscal year, Westpac Banking paid $1.50 in the form of dividends to shareholders. Forward P/E: 2.62.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 15.93, the P/S ratio is 5.43 and the P/B ratio is finally 2.21. The dividend yield amounts to 6.09 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 1.45.

MFA Financial (MFA) has a market capitalization of $2.68 billion. The company employs 37 people, generates revenue of $499.16 million and has a net income of $306.84 million. MFA Financial’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $289.95 million. The EBITDA margin is 58.09 percent (the operating margin is 57.14 percent and the net profit margin 61.47 percent).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 70.27 percent of MFA Financial’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 286.90 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 10.23 percent was realized by MFA Financial. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $0.79. Last fiscal year, MFA Financial paid $0.88 in the form of dividends to shareholders. Forward P/E: 8.87.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 9.30, the P/S ratio is 5.36 and the P/B ratio is finally 0.80. The dividend yield amounts to 11.92 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 0.30.

Take a closer look at the full list of High-Yields with single P/E's. The average P/E ratio amounts to 19.95 and forward P/E ratio is 7.29. The dividend yield has a value of 13.14 percent. Price to book ratio is 1.06 and price to sales ratio 3.77. The operating margin amounts to 43.41 percent and the beta ratio is 0.94. Stocks from the list have an average debt to equity ratio of 2.11.
