James S. Riepe - Genworth Financial, Inc. - Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board
Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Jim Riepe, I'm the nonexecutive Chairman of the Board of Genworth. And on behalf of Genworth, I want to welcome all of you to our 2019 annual meeting. In accordance with our by-laws, I'll preside over this meeting, and Michael McCullough, Genworth's Corporate Secretary, will serve as secretary of the meeting.
I'd like to review our director nominees, first, for you. Genworth's stockholders have the opportunity to elect members of our board each year. I am standing for re-election, along with 7 of my current colleagues: Kent Conrad; Melina Higgins; Tom McInerney, our Chief Executive Officer and President; David Moffett; Tom Moloney; Debra Perry; and Bob Restrepo.
I want to take a minute to also thank one of our current directors, Bill Bolinder, who is not standing for reelection. Bill has been a director of Genworth since 2010.
