Author and commodity investor Jim Rogers was recently asked to talk about the Euro by Graeme Maxton after a quick surveyed showed about 78% of individuals in the room believe the Euro will not be broken up in the next 3 years. Jim Rogers believes the Euro will not be around in the next 13 years. But, at the same time, Jim Rogers believes the world needs the Euro so it could have an alternative currency to the $USD. Rogers reveals that he was shocked German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced it would bail out Europe, but at the same time agreed that forcing the bailed out countries to do it the German way ("disciplined" economics), there Euro will be ok.
